FIFTH GRADE EXPECTATIONS 2024-2025

5 OLMSTED 

1] RESPECT yourself, others, and school property at all times.

2] Raise your hand if you have a question, comment, or answer. Please do not call out or talk while others are speaking.

3] Listen to others when they are speaking because they might just answer the questions you have.

4] ALWAYS come to class prepared with your materials

5] Come to class on time, seated, and be ready to get to work.

6] Answers should always be written in complete sentences, and all work will be shown for math. Unless otherwise specified.

7] Try to be as neat as possible so that your work can be understood.

8] It is the student’s responsibility to make up work after an absence. See your teachers, the website, or another student for the assignments.

9] Homework is assigned Monday-Thursday (maybe on Fridays).

1. All homework will be written in your assignment pad at the end of the period. If you have any questions, check your teacher’s website, Google Classroom, or the 5O Homework Calendar.

2. Parents should check the assignment pad nightly when the homework is completed.

10] All homework questions should be answered to the best of your ability. Errors and mistakes made on homework allow for wonderful learning opportunities and classroom discussions.

11] It is the student’s responsibility to come to school with a fully charged Chromebook/laptop everyday.

12] Homework assignments will also be online.
