    Supervisor of Humanities K-12


    As Supervisor of Humanities, Dr. Bangia supervises the Language Arts, Social Studies and World Languages programs across the Verona School District (K-12). Dr. Bangia has been an active member of the Verona School community since her arrival in September 2011. Prior to her tenure in Verona, Dr. Bangia had taught Social Studies for 10 years in the Randolph School District.


    Dr. Bangia completed her undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Studies Secondary Education. Her master's degree in Educational Administration was completed at Montclair State University. In 2011, Dr. Bangia successfully defended her dissertation at the College of Saint Elizabeth to earn her doctorate in Educational Leadership. Her doctoral dissertation was focused upon analyzing the changes in the level of student engagement during the final semester of the high school year.


    Dr. Bangia currently lives in Randolph, NJ with her husband and daughter.
