• Glen Stevenson 

    Supervisor of STEM K-12

     

    As Supervisor of STEM, Mr. Stevenson is directly involved in Verona's STEM programs in all six school buildings. Prior to his arrival in Verona in September 2013, Mr. Stevenson served as Science Supervisor for grades 6-12 in Sparta. Mr. Stevenson began his science teaching career in 1995 and has taught biology, physical science, environmental science, and zoology in three different school districts.

     Mr. Stevenson is a proud alumnus of Penn State University, having earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education. In 1998, Mr. Stevenson relocated to Seattle to attend University of Washington. He earned an M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction in 2000. During this time he worked as an Educational Research Assistant in a group investigating how students learn about controversies in science and how Information Technologies can serve as a learning tool. Mr. Stevenson has continued his post graduate education at Caldwell College.

     

    Mr. Stevenson lives in Rockaway NJ with his wife, 3 children, 2 cats, and 2 dogs.
