Miss Susan Gugger graduated from Marist College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, Special Education and Elementary Education. After college, she taught third grade for three years. She has been teaching fourth grade at Brookdale for two amazing years.
Please continue to teach your child responsibility by discussing the contents of his/her homework folder together daily.
Encourage your child to spend time reading every day. Reading to your child is also very beneficial to help your son or daughter develop and improve literacy skills. The quantity of reading increases stamina and the quality of reading increases your child's ability to think deeply and connect to the text. Both will help to build vocabulary. Reading is the best gift you can give to your child!
