    Professional Bio: 
      
    Mr. Albert Palazzo has been a part of the HB Whitehorne Middle School family for eight years, working as a special education teacher for the 6th grade.  Mr. Palazzo has made a change from special education and will be working as the 6O Math teacher.  

    Mr. Palazzo has been teaching for the last 13 years.  Mr. Palazzo has worked in the New York City Public School System, as well as a year at Seacoast High School in Massachusetts, as a Special Education Math teacher, varying from 5th grade throughout high school.  Mr. Palazzo has worked with students in a self-contained setting, general setting, and an ICI setting. 

    Mr. Palazzo obtained a Bachelors Degree in Finance from the University of Phoenix and a Master's Degree in General and Special Education for grades 1-6 at Touro College.  He extended his certificate to work as a Special Education Teacher through grades 7-12.  Mr. Palazzo has also earned additional credits with Queens College, where he has obtained certification to teach Math grades 5-8.

    In addition to his passion for being in the classroom and working with students, Mr. Palazzo has been a coach for over 16 years.  Mr. Palazzo is currently the Head Boys Track Coach with the Verona Track team for the Winter and Spring Seasons.  Mr. Palazzo loves to stay active in the sports world and enjoys teaching his players respect, responsibility and the fundamentals of each sport. 

    Mr. Palazzo is a very energetic, passionate, and outgoing person.  Mr. Palazzo and his wife have two beautiful girls, Juliana (6 years old) and Josephine (4 years old).  He loves spending time with his family and is blessed to have them in his life.  Mr. Palazzo also likes to enjoy the occasional sporting event, (Go Giants and Yankees). Mr. Palazzo is very grateful to his wife and his family, who have been very helpful and supportive in his career as an educator, and he looks forward to working every single year at HB Whitehorne Middle School.
