As a child, I always had an inkling of wanting to be a teacher, but it was several teachers that I had in middle school who inspired me to pursue this rewarding career. Middle school is a time for change and growth, and I am grateful that I have the opportunity each day to support, nurture, challenge, and inspire my students.
I attended William Paterson University as an undergraduate, and I earned a Master’s Degree in Reading from Montclair State University. This is the start of my 12th year of teaching. I am excited to see the amazing and creative work my students produce.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, catching up on reading, and playing with my pets. I have a dog named Lancelot and two cats, whose names are Puck and Sabrina.
