Mrs. Lisa Sarett
Welcome to Mrs. Sarett's Math Class!!
I am excited to be teaching 7th grade Mathematics this year at HBW! I graduated from Rutgers University with a major in Mathematics and a minor in English. I worked in the retail industry for many years, then decided I wanted to teach students how to read, write and analyze, as these are necessary life-long skills. I returned to college for education credits, and now hold certificates in both Elementary (K-5) and Mathematics (K-12). In addition to HBW, this second career has taken me through the Livingston and West Orange School districts. I have taught 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade mathematics.
Mrs. Sarett enjoys spending time with her family. We like to kyack, canoe, ski, go to the movies, museums and the theater, play games, read and travel. This past summer we spent time in Maine; we had fun swimming, kayacking, and relaxing by the campfire. We love eating fresh lobster with family and friends while watching the loons swim and the eagles fly. I have a goldendoodle, her name is Rosie. I look forward to learning all about each and every one of you.
