Hi everyone! I'm really excited to begin my twelfth year on the staff of H. B. Whitehorne!  I am also looking forward to meeting all of you and to getting started on what is sure to be an interesting journey this year.  Here's a little "get to know me" information for you...

Prior to my time in Verona, I worked in Paramus, where I taught sixth-grade Language Arts and Science. My previous career in the broadcast engineering field taught me the meaning of grace under pressure, and I think it affords me a unique perspective on the classroom. I hold a BA in Psychology from Lafayette College and completed the Post Baccalaureate Teaching program at William Paterson University.  I am currently working towards a Master of Science degree in K-8 Science Education, and expect to complete that by May, 2024. The state of New Jersey has certified me to teach kindergarten through fifth grade with endorsements for middle school Science and Language Arts.  Lastly, as a professional musician for over twenty-five years, I feel that my musical sensibilities and artistic awareness bring a little bit of fun to our day-to-day classroom experience. In my free time, I love to spend time with my wife and two children, play music, read, and watch movies. I am looking forward to finding out what makes y'all tick!
