Professional Bio:
Mrs. Sewell is thrilled to be teaching at H.B. Whitehorne. Before coming to H.B. Whitehorne, Mrs. Sewell taught at FN Brown and traveled between the two schools. She earned her undergraduate degree at William Paterson University and her Masters at Montclair State University. Mrs. Sewell holds dual certification as both an Elementary Education Teacher and Teacher of the Handicapped. Currently, Mrs. Sewell is getting trained in Ortan Gillingham Reading. She is very excited to be learning a new way to help students. Mrs. Sewell feels that learning occurs both inside and outside of school. She encourages students to ask questions and share experiences they have had.
In her free time, Mrs. Sewell enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and exercising. Mrs. Sewell is looking to baseball with her son and watching in his new sport, crew, at Seton Hall Prep.
