Classe de français
Madame Mordkovich
Bienvenue à la classe de français! I hope you had a good summer and now you are ready to start another year of learning. I would like to communicate to you some important information about la classe de français. Please note that all of the announcements are posted on Google Class.
I. DISCIPLINE
Please remember …
Respect your classmates, teacher and yourself. No unnecessary talking, s’il vous plait.
No food or gum during the class.
Teacher’s desk should remain “teacher’s desk” for the year, which means do not touch anything on the desk!!!
Be on time which means being in your seat when the bell rings.
II. EFFORT and PARTICIPATION
It is very important for you to use French as much as possible in class and outside the classroom, please do not be afraid to participate in class discussions or ask questions.
Every attempt to parler français will be rewarded!
III. HOMEWORK
The purpose of homework is to review material at home. It is your responsibility to correct it in class. Missed, incomplete or not corrected homework in class will cost you points. Internet and other translation services should not be used to translate an entire sentence.
IV. NECESSARY ITEMS and EXTRA HELP
In class you will need to have your textbook covered, a three ring binder with loose-leaf paper or a notebook, and a writing utensil.
Please do not hesitate to ask questions, seek help or share an opinion or an idea. I am available for extra help after school every day.
V. PARENTS
If you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by sending an e-mail to emordkovich@veronaschools.org .
It is not always easy to learn to speak another language (nobody knows it better than I do), but if we are patient I am sure that everybody will have a productive and enjoyable year. I am here to make your learning experience as exciting as possible.
Passez une bonne année scolaire!!!
