    Biography:

     

    Ms. Ramos teaches 9th grade Biology along with Medical Biology A.  She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of St. Elizabeth University, a Master's Degree in Education from Seton Hall University and Certified in Supervision from Kean University. 

    Ms. Ramos began her teaching career at Queen of Peace High school and came to Verona High School in 2007.  Besides teaching Biology and Medical Bio, she is the advisor for Marine Biology, Science National Honor Society and co-advisor for the Class of 2024.

     

    Teaching Philosophy:
     
    My personal philosophy in education is that EVERYONE has brilliance in them and just has to find the right outlet to allow them to SHINE.  All students are capable of mastering a subject.  It is the student's RESPONSIBILITY to learn the material by any means possible.  I believe that the teacher is their to GUIDE, facilitate and help the learner succeed.  She is not the only source for information.
