The Verona Mock Trial varsity team is comprised of four student-attorneys and six student witnesses. We also have a JV team and a number of jurors. Mock Trial members prepare to participate in the New Jersey State Bar Foundation Mock Trial Competition. The first round of the Essex County Tournament is held at Veterans Courthouse, Newark, NJ, and may be done virutally if needed. VHS will be having a scrimmage in December against Morristown. Spectators are welcome. Our judges will be attorneys from the local community.
