                                                 Mandarin Club Statement

      
    The Mandarin Club was formed in the year 2006 in order to provide a fun extracurricular activity for students interested in Chinese culture. Anyone who is a student at Verona High School can join us. Meeting dates are determined by the members and Mrs. Hou and held at least twice a month. Announcements and activities will be made via Google classroom this year. 
     
    Our goal is to provide a fun cultural learning experience, so we involve our members in activities about Chinese culture.  In the past, we have gone to Chinatown, the Royal Buffet, XiaoFeiYang Hot Pot, Chinese supermarkets, Lily Yip table tennis center and Forest Avenue Elementary School and Laning Ave. Elementary School to organize hand-on activities with the younger kids.
     
    We also sponsored a school wide "Fun Day" at the LC during spring time.
     
    What do you would like to do this year? We can do movies, games, crafts, cook and .... .We welcome your new ideas.
