VERONA PUBLIC SCHOOLSHEALTH AND WELLNESSVerona Public Schools would like to welcome Rutgers University Behavioral Health’s School Based Training on how to support our children after a pandemic, where their experience treating children is matched by their experience in training parents and other student support systems. They have trained thousands of parents like you, and they know what will help you in learning techniques to support your child. If you are ready to take your teaching to the next level, let them help you get started by attending this great training opportunity. And remember, when you have a question or get stuck, just contact your building principal or Rutgers University Behavioral Health’s School Based Training directly at hartnaan@ubhc.rutgers.edu.Dr. Kelly MooreClick here to learn more about Dr. MooreTitle: Supporting Your Children After a PandemicWhen: September 30, 2021Location: VHS AuditoriumTime: 7:00 - 8:30 pmStreaming Link: https://youtu.be/I6p07geUXNQDescription: The Pandemic has impacted us all, but as we return to normalcy our children need more support than ever. - Do you wish you knew more about how the pandemic, social unrest, and divisions in the country have affected our youth, parents, and communities?
- Would you like some concrete strategies for helping kids cope (and also parent/teacher coping strategies!)
- Join us for more resources for what to do when there is a need for additional support.
