Ms. Hagel

Ms. Hagel is a Kindergarten teacher at Brookdale Avenue Elementary School in Verona. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Montclair State University in Family Science and Human Development and is certified to teach grades K through 6. Ms. Hagel will be entering her fifth year teaching at Brookdale and has experience in teaching Kindergarten, First grade, and Third Grade. Ms. Hagel is certified in LETRS Lexia Learning to facilitate rich reading, writing, and spelling instructional practices and achieve long-term success in literacy. Ms. Hagel feels confident that her knowledge and experience will help all her students learn to love reading using a multisensory approach to learning. 

In her spare time, Ms. Hagel enjoys spending time with her sisters, going to the shore, going for walks with her dog, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
