Mrs. Szybist received her Bachelor's degree from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, New Jersey and Graduate Certification in Orff-Schulwerk from West Chester University, West Chester, Pennsylvania. She has been a member of the executive Board of the Northern New Jersey  Orff-Schulwerk Association since 1993 and has served as NNJOSA President.  She joined the Verona music department in 2002, as a vocal music teacher at the elementary level. In addition, she is the director of the VHS Vocal Jazz ensemble, a select group of students who perform for various school and community events.  Mrs. Szybist considers it a privilege to be working with the staff and students of Verona.
