    Please log in to Google using the username and password given to you in class.  Don't forget to type "@veronaschools.org" after your username when logging in!
     
     

     

    HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS

    In general, 3rd grade weekly homework assignments remain consistent. However, please check your child's homework planner each night for accuracy.  The expected homework is as follows:

     

    Reading/Writing

    • Recommended 20 minutes per night.  

    • One reading response in the Writing About Reading notebook due each Friday.

    • Raz Kids (kidsa-z.com) is encouraged whenever possible at home, and is assigned every Monday night for homework.

    • Writing assignments will be sent home on a periodic basis.

     

    Math

    • Workbook pages or online homework Monday through Thursday

    • Khan Academy (khanacademy.org) is encouraged whenever possible at home. 

     

    Fundations/Grammar 

    • Monday through Wednesday: 5 sentences each night

    • Thursday: ABC Order or Worksheet

    • Grammar homework may also be given on select nights.

    Current Events 

    Your child will have a current event due roughly once per month, as per the schedule distributed in class.  If you need the current event planning form, you can download it HERE.

    Other Homework

    Homework for science and social studies will be given on an "as needed" basis.  Please check your child's homework planner each night to assist him/her with remembering to complete these assignments.
