First grade is a very exciting year and I am looking forward to being your child's teacher. The first month is always the "getting to know you" period for parents, students and teacher.  I will keep you updated on all routines and expectations through this website and emails. I am starting to update my website weekly as I think of important information that you will need as a parent. Your first assignment is to email me at jweiss@veronaschools.org and answer the following questions. I am looking forward to meeting you on the first day of school and to seeing you at Back to School Night on September 20th.

1. Please let me know if your child has a nickname and if you would like your child to use this name on his/her papers and be written on his/her name tag.

2. Does you child have any health concerns that you would like to communicate to me. Please indicate any allergies, vision concerns, physical concerns, etc.

3. What are your child's academic strengths and weaknesses?

4. Who will be picking your child up after school? Will your child be attending Aftercare? If so, what days?
