Mr. Jeffrey Monacelli
Principal
Jeffrey Monacelli is the principal of Forest Avenue School. He has been an educator for 33 years working at the elementary, middle, high school and college levels. His educational career in the Verona Public Schools began in 1998. He was a fifth grade teacher at H.B. Whitehorne (HBW) Middle School for eight years, served as the assistant principal at HBW for four years and is in his 15th year as principal of Forest Avenue School. Prior to coming to Verona, he taught third grade, sixth grade and a brief stint in high school.He received his B.A. degree from Caldwell University and a Master of Arts in Administration and Supervision from Montclair State University. Mr. Monacelli is certified by the New Jersey Department of Education as a teacher, supervisor, principal and school administrator. He is also a member of the adjunct faculty in the College of Human Development, Culture and Media (Department of Educational Studies) at Seton Hall University, the School of Education at Felician University and the School of Education at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
