AP Highlights & Scholars Presentation

Happy Holidays!

On Tuesday, December 9, Dr. Miller presented Verona High School’s Advanced Placement (AP) Highlights and AP Scholars to the Board of Education, AP students and their families, and members of the Verona community. This presentation celebrated the outstanding accomplishments of our AP students and teachers from the spring 2025 exam administration.

Overall, more than 50% of Verona High School students took at least one AP exam, totaling 301 participating students and 607 exams administered. The average AP exam score was 3.63, the highest average in the school’s history, an achievement that reflects the dedication, rigor, and commitment of both our students and educators.

In addition, we proudly recognized 121 AP Scholars who earned AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Honor, or AP Scholar with Distinction awards. These honors are based on the number of AP exams taken throughout a student’s high school career and earning qualifying scores of 3 or higher.

To learn more about these accomplishments, please review the attached slideshow. Thank you for your continued support of academic excellence at Verona High School, and we wish you a safe, restful, and enjoyable winter break.

Warm regards,

Charlie Miller
