Dear Staff, Students, Parents and Guardians,
During the week of May 19-22, VHS 9th and 11th grade students will participate in NJSLA testing. Please click here to see Dr. Miller’s NJSLA letter.
Below, you will find important information pertaining to NJSLA testing.
May 19, 20, 21, 22 - NJSLA Testing:
Grade 9 & 11 students must arrive at school at 7:55 AM and report directly to their testing location.
We encourage all students to bring in wired headphones each day in the event students use audio. Wireless headphones are not permitted for use.
Students in grades 10 & 12 (if not participating in capstone) should arrive at school by 10:10 AM and report to the auditorium.
The NJSLA test window will run from 8:05-10:15, although the test lasts for 90 minutes (ELA/MATH) or 60 minutes (SCIENCE).
All instructional periods will be 35 minutes.
Students will be assigned to testing rooms by Mr. Merkler. These rooms will be communicated via student email and posted in the main lobby.
