Mrs. Lisa Varuolo has been teaching art at Forest Avenue School and Laning Avenue School since 1989. Like many of her colleagues, Mrs. Varuolo's educational roots are in Verona. After graduating from Montclair State University with a BA in Art Education,and an MA in painting, Mrs. Varuolo began her teaching career at the Passaic Valley Regional High School in Little Falls, where she fulfilled a temporary teaching position. She was Forest Avenue School's first recipient of the Verona Foundation for Educational Excellence Inspiring Excellence Award, and was included in the 2000 and 2005 editions of Who's Who in America's Teachers.
