Why Attend College Visits?
Each fall, college representatives from across the country come to VHS to meet with our students. These visits are an incredible opportunity that happens usually only once a year, and you don’t want to miss out.
The representatives you’ll meet are often the same people who read your applications. Attending a visit not only gives you the chance to ask questions and learn more about a school, but it also allows you to make a personal connection with the admissions office.
Many colleges track demonstrated interest—meaning they notice when you take the time to engage with their representatives. Meeting with a rep is a positive step in showing genuine interest and can help you stand out in the admissions process.
Whether you’re finalizing your college list, exploring options, or simply curious, these sessions are open to all students. Be proactive: take advantage of this chance to introduce yourself, ask thoughtful questions, and start building relationships with the schools you may apply to.
