• Cheryl Buzby
    School Counselor

    Ms. Buzby's career in education began working at the Catalina Island Marine Institute as a Marine 
    Science Instructor and outdoor educator.  Following that position, she became a tenured teacher at 
    Coronado High School where she taught Science and created a new course offering in Marine 
    Science.  After moving to New York State,she worked as an Admissions Counselor at Ithaca 
    College and traveled extensively to recruit high school students throughout New York and New 
    Jersey.  Her interest in counseling grew and she went on to pursue a Masters Degree in School 
    Counseling from Syracuse University.  While attending graduate school, she became a Teaching 
    Assistant for CLS 105, a course in college learning strategies.  She moved to NJ in 2004 to raise her 
    family and most recently worked as a substitute teacher in the Mountain Lakes School District.
