    Bio pic
This is my fourth year at Verona High School. This year, I'll be teaching English I Honors, English II CP, and Broadcast Journalism. Prior to joining the Verona community, I spent a year teaching outside of Cleveland, Ohio and a year teaching at Westwood High School in Bergen County, NJ.
In 2011, I graduated from Penn State University, where I earned my degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English and Communications. While at PSU, I was a Teaching Assistant in the College of Communications and a dedicated member of the co-ed community service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. During my last year at Penn State, I spent a year completing a student teaching internship at State College High School. A few weeks before graduating, I secured my first teaching job.
    As a person:
With the exception of one year in Ohio, I have lived in New Jersey all my life. I attended Glen Rock High School, where I was a 4-year Varsity athlete in track/field and soccer. I am an intensely dedicated NY Giants and PSU Nittany Lions fan, and I love country music. In my spare time, I love trying new things and going new places. This summer's adventures predominantly included a month-long backpacking trip throughout 7 countries in Europe. After backpacking, I enjoyed a few concerts and spent time at my family's lake house. I love reading (of course), cooking/baking, traveling, playing games, DIY projects, and being around friends.
I'm excited for the 2016-2017 Hillbilly school year!
